The Iron Odor Eater stores a compressed "bubble" of air inside the media tank, compressed naturally by your well pressure. As water passes through this air pocket, oxygen converts dissolved iron and sulfur into solid particles that the catalytic filter media traps.

Catalytic Media Traps
